Happy to have made the Nespresso upgrade

I just switched over from my Nespresso Maestro (oldie but goodie-still will NOT depart with it) to the Nepsresso Creatista Pro. It is very sleek looking, easy to use and quieter than the Maestro. The set up process was easy (after reading the directions in the manual) and painless. I was surprised how much hotter my flat white coffee was in this machine compared to what I was used to. Needless to say I'm very pleased with my new Creatista Pro. (Although the "automatic steam purge" after the milk frothing was a little unnerving for the first time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bad machine x2

Got my first creatista pro for Christmas. When I attempted to use the milk frother feature the machine would turn off and couldn’t be turned back on for approx 30mins. Nespresso sent me a replacement in feb. Now the new machine has been used aprox 20 times since feb and has started doing the same thing. Brews coffee then starts to steam milk for a few seconds and shuts down completely
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I want to love this machine, but I kind of don't

I want to love this machine, but I kind of don't. For the price, I'd expect more, especially compared to older machines. The stainless finish looks really nice in theory, but it is hard to keep clean and looking shiny. Any little water droplet dries visibly on the surface and makes it look dirty. I've only had the machine 3 months and have already had to descale it twice. I brew 1-2 capsules most days, which doesn't seem like an extreme amount to warrant so much descaling. I did the water test and set the machine appropriately (at 2 of the 4 bars, so right in the middle) - I have city water and filter it through a Brita pitcher before putting it in the machine. It does not let you bypass the descaling warning, so you cannot use the machine until you go through the descaling process (which takes a lot of water and like 15 minutes). Not a great way to start my morning if I'm in a rush to get to work. I had the Latissima Pro for over a decade before it finally quit on me. That allowed me to bypass the descaling warning and let met continue to brew my coffee and come back to descale when I had time. I wish this one would let you do that. I drink a lot of Americanos and tea, so I was really excited about the hot water feature of this machine. Unless you're doing fancy coffee drinks with frothed milk regularly, I don't think this machine is worth it. I'd probably be better off getting a more basic machine and an electric kettle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yesterday, I received the Breville Creatista Pro coffee machine. I am a big fan of the Nespresso concept and I have been using it for years. My current Nespresso machine is an old one, making only coffee manually. So on the paper this machine offers a huge upgrade, which is actually really the case.
I appreciate the design and the metal touch, it makes it a beautiful device in the kitchen, you really want to let it in sight, it brings a modern touch.
The first use is very easy and well explained, the good thing is that the machine can be tried right away with the included pods.
In two days my family and I tried all coffee drinks. The menu is simple and convenient, we even have added our own café latte recipe. I like the ability of fine tuning the level of an expresso for example, the best is that it is going to keep the change for the next time. I was not a big fan of latte but with this machine it is going to change, the milk feature is very convenient and the self-cleaning of the steam wand is awesome. You just need to wipe the milk on the wand with a towel.
The machine is one part of the coffee drink, the other part is the coffee itself and from that side the Nespresso coffee is great. Actually I did not find yet the equivalence on the market. I really appreciate the variety, you can select the type of coffee you want/need during the day. One of my favourite set for the day is ristretto to wake up, roma after lunch, arpeggio deca around 4pm and another after diner.
In summary, I recommend the Breville Creatista Pro Coffee machine because it gives so many good coffee possibilities that the entire family will use it while being aesthetic.

Made my mornings a whole lot better

1. Extremely user friendly setup. You turn it on and the touch screen walks you through every step. Couldn’t get any easier than that.
2. Customizable to each coffee drinker in your household. My husband and I have figured out our perfect cup and saved those settings. Now we get that cup at the push of a button.
3. The design is well thought out. This machine actually takes up LESS space than our Keurig did. I love how the used pods are dropped down into a compartment to be emptied later. And I love how the pods can be sent in for free to be recycled.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow... just wow!! Coffee house coffee, from your house, in just over a minute! It is absolutely amazing!! The touch screen makes it super easy to use and start! The online tutorials are so helpful! I love the dedicated hot water spout!! It preheats my cup perfectly! My husband loves the steam wand/ milk frother!! He thinks he is a barista now!! I prefer to use one of the 8 presets, one button and coffee is all mine!! Very high quality machine. Looks super sharp on my counter!! All of the drinks are delicious!

There are 9 different types of coffee to choose from, on the digital touch screen with pictures included. It has built automatic frothing that is so nice because you don't have to fight with the separate one. I haven't found any flaws in this machine yet and I have been using it for over a month, several times a day. Super easy to use
