After unpacking it and setting it up, I tried 3 separate times but I couldn't get the water temperature to heat up beyond 154-158 degrees. I turned it off and tried again the next day and the water immediately heated up to 200 degrees on the first try and the unit has worked great ever since. Really quick and convenient compared to other machines- and the automatic milk frother works incredibly well. Super easy cleanup.

This is our second machine. Purchased after our first needed repairs after about 5 years. The first was sent for servicing. The new machine was received quickly. My only complaint was the condition of the package when received. The box was mangled by the shipper. There were holes that went thru the exterior box. If the machine had not been so carefully packed in its original box it probably would have been damaged. Breville should question the shipper. I can provide pictures. The machine itself is as good as our original. We love it!
