The Oracle Is the best espresso maker for the money. I wake up every morning and have my perfect latte thanks to the many adjustments on the Oracle so I could fine tune to my taste. Breville makes so many wonderful kitchen appliances, because of the Oracle, I also own hot pot, smart oven, pizza oven, blender and panini press. The quality, design and features of my Breville appliances are the absolute best. I do not work, or am I associated with Breville or their agents. Just a very happy Breville owner.

Breville BES980XL Oracle Espresso coffee machine purchased in 2015. I have used it every day. This machine it's not for a regular Starbucks customer, this is for a real Italian espresso coffee shot or cappuccino!

Always room for improvement. Questions loom over maintenance. My machine is over two years old. I clean it frequently which improves flavor. Coffee constantly varies due to market availability which effects extraction and flavor. I would like to see more information on how to dial in correct grind, tamp and extraction. As for quality, I tell folks who praise my coffee that the machine lasts a few years and then I get the newer improved model. All in Breville has been great in terms of customer service and quality. Buy the best one you can afford. The Oracle is a nice place to be!

Best Espresso Machine out there- 5 year user-They take care of their problems

I've used Breville Oracle 980 for about 5 years. It makes the best quality of a variety of drinks. Previously had a Saeco Super automatic, 12000 shots. Theyquality of the. drinks from the 980 ism much better. With good fresh beans it is a spoiler, I don't even like Charbucks.
I've had some reliability issues over the years, but Breville has taken care of them.

We have now owned 2 Breville ORACLE espresso machines. For a fully automatic machine, this price is right! We were able to dial up the coffee for our taste. All components of this machine are solid. Unless you're willing to buy a commercial machine, this consumer level machine is second to none. We've had a few warranty issues with our machines in which Breville has taken care of promptly and professionally.

i just wanted to thank the wonderful staff at Breville that took the time to fix my machine, but at the end of the day was unrepairable - so they sent me a brand new one - It was like christmas - we love our machine, in fact I have a toaster and smart oven and well as a back up expresso machine - they are worth every penny - THANKS BREVILLE

Not as high quality on the inside as the outside

I have to return mine now for the second time. The first was because the machine was overheating, like burn your hand when you touched the top. Now I have to sent it in again because the grinder motor burned out. Would not recommend this product.

4th year of perfection!

My husband purchased this machine for my birthday 4 years ago. I have always used reverse osmosis water with no filter in the water. Have had zero problems but I do clean it thoroughly 2x a year and clean water tank weekly. The best birthday present ever! The dual boilers are a must and tempers controls grinder controls help maintain perfection to every cup. Sometimes you have to change the grinder for different coffees but we stick to our three favorites and grinder stays the same.
