I’ve learned so much about coffee. It’s a science, if you want to have that delicious coffee. The Oracle is awesome. Automatic but the option to do things manually. Once you have setup just enjoy the best coffee ever.

I have had my Oracle since 2015. It has provided me with countless hours of great conversation and coffee. I have enjoyed the opportunity to explore various coffee beans and different types of roasts while always having perfect control of the brewing. Needless to say that when it finally fell ill with a mechanical problem, Breville support showed me how courteous and professional a company they are. They tried to repair my unit but it didn't work, so they replaced it with a new one. I am amazed. As a participating member in the customer service industry, I find loyalty most flattering for a job well done. Thank you Breville

Great machine if you are willing to give up some control

I've had my Oracle for 5 years, and it does all the basics very well with minimal effort. If you get more into the technical aspects of making espresso drinks, it does have some limitations . The grinder dosing is not easily adjustable; and more critically, the steam wand does not swivel to the side to more easily control milk texturing, it only goes up and down and must be fully down to steam (auto temperature shutoff and purging are nice). Only other criticism is the grinder is quite noisy compared to standalone ones. Overall a very good machine, however.

Great machine with even better service

I purchased an Oracle in late 2016. The machine does a great job at what it is designed to do. What was equally impressive was the service that was there to back up the machine when we had some issues with it in mid 2017. Breville was very responsive with their support. Once it was determined that it would require some repairs, they sent us the proper packaging and shipping label. Including transit time there and back, the entire repair service took 8 days. No additional cost to us, just the minor hassle of not being able to brew our own beverages for 8 days. Despite the little hiccup with the machine, the service provided by Breville made the experience much less frustrating.

Leaking boiler a known problem

It has the exact same problem already as the last one. I went through hell with the first one I bought having to send it back to you two different times for weeks each time before you finally replaced it. Now the one you replaced it with has the exact same problem. It leaks from the boiler down into the drip tray with every cup brewed. Getting constantly worse. I guess I need to find another brand. Clearly this is a common issue with this model that you won’t address. The new one you sent me started leaking with the very first cup I brewed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm sorry to hear of your disappointment with your appliance. I do want to make sure that you're aware the espresso machine is supposed to purge water into the drip tray when first turned on, and after each extraction. That purge will be 1-2 ounces.
