I had a previous Oracle model that quit working about 1 year and 10 months after buying the machine and while working with Breville trying different things to get the machine to work they ended up replacing the machine with a new one. I would think with the cost of the machine that they would last longer but customer service was good and they made things right.

Great machine. All the settings you need for almost any kind of coffee. Mine broke 12 months into the warranty and Breville fixed it in a timely fashion as no cost. Great product that the company stands behind.

Great expresso machine, has a problem over time

The Oracle is an incredible expresso machine. The only concern is that I usually make two cups a day and after about a year and a half, it started making loud noises and then shorted out the home circuit. After looking on YouTube, I found that the o-rings dry out and it leaks water which shorts out inside the machine. I love the machine and this is my second, but not looking forward to probably the same problems in about a year and half.
