[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this tv with matching gx soundbar as a package but am very disappointed to find out that the surround sound speaker kit is discontinued with no new product being available I love the tv but why should I have to buy a new soundbar 4 months later just to get surround sound what's up with this lg??

I chose the G2 because of the great reviews and the extremely slim design is incredible. I wall mounted this TV (as it's supposed to be) and it is truly like a picture frame on the wall and the wall mounting bracket is 100% hidden.

The tv is great, for those that know what to expect from an OLED then this tv delivers, but for a standard user the out of the box settings are hard on the eyes. There is a comfort setting that would make most people happy, but to get the best of the inky color range you can play with the settings and find your favorite.

The TV is really great mostly but it has a pesky habit of dimming even if you turn off the power saving features. The only way to get it to stop is to jog it out of its complacency by hitting the input or home button. Very annoying while watching movies. But it does look great and the ARC compatibility is on point for the most part.
