I have had the LG G2 77" OLED TV for almost a year, and it has been nothing short of a revelation in my home entertainment setup. I can't help but give it a well-deserved 5-star review for the following reasons:
1. **Stunning OLED Display**: The OLED display on this TV is nothing short of breathtaking. The colors are vivid, blacks are deep and true, and the contrast is mind-blowing. It's like having a cinema-quality screen right in my living room.
2. **Immersive 77" Screen**: The size of this TV is perfect for creating a truly immersive viewing experience. Whether I'm watching movies, playing games, or streaming my favorite shows, the 77" screen pulls me into the content like never before.
3. **Dolby Vision and Atmos**: The LG G2 supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, delivering exceptional audio and visual quality. The sound is rich and immersive, and the HDR content looks astonishingly lifelike.
4. **Thin and Sleek Design**: LG has nailed it with the design of this TV. It's incredibly thin, and the bezels are minimal, giving it a modern and sleek appearance. It's a work of art even when turned off.
5. **WebOS and Smart Features**: The WebOS smart platform is user-friendly and intuitive. It's easy to navigate through apps, and the quick response time ensures a smooth experience. Plus, the voice control feature is a handy addition for searching and controlling content.
6. **Gaming Excellence**: If you're a gamer, you'll love the LG G2. It supports features like NVIDIA G-SYNC and low input lag, making it perfect for gaming with no screen tearing or noticeable delay. The 120Hz refresh rate ensures silky-smooth gameplay.
7. **Future-Proof with HDMI 2.1**: With HDMI 2.1 ports, this TV is future-proofed for next-gen gaming consoles and devices. It can handle 4K at 120Hz, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), ensuring top-tier gaming experiences.
8. **Magic Remote**: The included Magic Remote is a game-changer. Its intuitive pointer and responsive touchpad make navigating through menus a breeze. Plus, it has voice recognition for even greater convenience.
In summary, the LG G2 77" OLED TV is a masterpiece of modern technology and entertainment. It elevates the viewing experience to new heights with its stunning OLED display, immersive sound, and smart features. If you're a cinephile, gamer, or simply someone who appreciates top-tier home entertainment, this TV is a must-have. It has truly transformed my living room into a cinematic paradise, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Five stars without a doubt!

Good colors, awful sound, awful build quality

I've had this OLED65G2PUA a couple weeks now, and its only real good quality is the thinness. The screen has warps along the top edge, the sound is way worse than my prior lower-end LG OLED model, and LG has been very unhelpful and uninterested in resolving these issues.

Do not buy this TV! The power supply has died more than once and needs to be replaced over and over again. It will be working fine and then it dies.

Dumb Smart TV
on February 9, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the picture and sound is excellent, but the “smart” features are annoying, for example if I am in conversation around the tv, sometimes it turns on and starts listening and responding as if we are voice controlling it, but we aren’t! The other super annoying feature is the auto screensaver, I want to be able to use the Spotify app without the screensaver turning on. Sometimes I like to keep it on for the lyrics to play on the screen, but the screensaver starts after like 2 minutes! And there’s no way to turn it off. I really don’t need the AI features, in fact I wish there were ways to turn all that stuff off, but I guess I need to get used to all my technology products listening and probably recording everything we say… I just want a regular tv with the updated color/sound.

Hi there. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, and we appreciate your feedback on the smart features of the LG OLED TV. We understand your difficulty in dealing with these matters, and we truly regret to hear about that. While these features seem to be bothering you, we can help you with this. With regards to the voice recognition feature of your LG TV, you can turn this feature off by going to Settings > General > AI Service > Voice Recognition Settings. While there's no direct option to disable it completely, the screen saver is designed to prevent burn-in on the OLED panel and cannot be turned off entirely. If you require additional assistance, you may reach out to our social media team at @LGUSSupport, and we'd be glad to accommodate you. `Liz

This TV is insane. Bright, crisp, and blackest of blacks. And it looks good on the wall. Sound quality is great, but I'm adding a soundbar with surround b/c it begs for more.
