Had for about a month. May be a little too soft? We wake with stiff backs.

It's a nice bed. It arrived timely and was well packaged. We look forward to sleeping in it each night or when we've been away from home. But only 4 stars because it isn't amazing it's simply good. Still wake up with a sore hip or back now and then. Arms still fall asleep now and then. If it holds up it was worth the investment.

Our mattress was 16 years old and we decided it was time for a new one. We really did NOT want to visit a mattress store so decided to try Tuft and Needle. Before purchasing the mattress we read numerous reviews and also found a YouTube video describing the mattress. My husband was very pleased right from the start but it’s taken me several weeks to grow accustomed to it. I am a side sleeper and this hybrid mattress is definitely firmer than I thought it would be. It’s very different than a traditional coil mattress and took some getting used to. While it might be “in my head”, it seems to have “softened up” a tiny bit over time and I now get a good night’s sleep and find it comfortable.
Unrelated, the box the mattress arrived in was extremely scented. We immediately removed the plastic wrap (this might have been what was scented) and took it to our garbage can. Both our garbage can (plastic wrap) and recycle bin (cut up box) had a floral smell for weeks. Not a big issue, but something to be aware of.

Mattress was ok, a bit more firm than we wanted. T & N offered to send us a topper to see if that fixed the problem, and it did. A very nice topper, with a fabric cover and rubber nubbins for an anti-slip bottom. Happy with the comfort now. Not happy that it was necessary to add a topper. They extended the trial for us to try the combo. Very happy with their attention to 'customer care'.

I expected the hybrid to be a bit softer than it is. Overall I like the bed but I was use to sleeping on a memory foam topper, so my expectations were skewed

I expected this to be a nice upgrade from my last mattress, but did not expect a drastic change in my overall sleep. I am a light sleeper, toss and turn all night and remember changing positions when I sleep. With my T & N Hybrid, I do not move, cannot remember if I change positions or not and sleep like a rock. I thought it was a fluke and I would be back to my normal pattern, but no! It has been over a month now, I have regained the sleep of a healthy normal human and it is making quite a difference to really feel rested every day.

I gave this bed a 3 stars because it is well made, however it is way to hard for us! I can’t go through the hassle of sending back! I don’t recommend this bed unless you like a hard bed! I so wanted to have a comfortable mattress, this is just not the mattress for us!
