This ice machine makes chewable ice. It keeps me from having to leave home and buy ice. I wish the ice bin was larger and the machine doesn't store ice. Once it is made, it will melt.

Good enough... could definitely be better for the price

Upon starting the machine, the first few minutes it makes slush, not ice. Advertised as a "melt-resistant" interior which is not true. I get it's not a freezer; but it's not melt-resistant.

The icemaker makes great ice. It makes more noise that the standard cube maker, but since it's an extruder maker with auger that is expected. Needs to have automatic restart after ice level reset.

GREAT ICE! (yelling so you can hear me over the ice maker)

The Ice is amazing... but the machine is loud. Christmas present but on week 3 ran it for 5 hours to stock up on ice in a cooler and the machine started squealing. Turned it off and then back on the next morning and back to normal sound and volume. I will contact product support if this happens again.
