Cute and compact

I don't need a fancy coffee in pot! This Hamilton Beach 12 cup coffee pots works good
I like that it is easy to read and with instructions it is easy to program and set up. I like that I can preset and get my morning coffee hot and ready for me when I get up.
Easy to read numbers on the carrafe helps me know how many cups I am brewing.
Easy to wash and easy to store!

Quick & Small Coffee Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the compact size of the this coffee maker. The wide open are for pouring the water into the Reservoir is great. No spilling water all over. What we really love about this coffee maker is how quickly it makes coffee. The programmable aspect of the coffee maker is great too. Nothing like leaving early for a trip and the coffee is made and waiting. The only issue I have is the 2 hour time limit. I wish it was 4 hours.

Perfect, simple-to-use coffee maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach 12 cup coffee maker is simple to use and straightforward. Setting the brew time is easy. I program it so my coffee is ready when I get back from walking the dog in the morning. The easy to read water reservoir helps me to know exactly how much water I'm adding. I love the fact that it turns off automatically after 2 hours! One less thing for me to check on my way out the door. I love that I have the option to make a stronger pot of coffee with the brew select feature, but probably the thing I love most is auto pause and pour. Being able to pour a cup of coffee mid-brew and not cause a mess is priceless! Overall, I'm extremely happy with this product!

Nice big pot of coffee

I have always loved having a brewer that makes a whole pot of coffee but in the last few years I had also tried kcup makers. These kcup machines produced a weaker cup of coffee that wasn't very hot. This Hamilton Beach coffee maker brewed a nice, smooth, bold, hot cup of coffee. Easy to add water to the back reservoir and coffee into a filter.
Setting up auto brew was simple, the only thing I found a little different was the front indicators were not as user friendly and apparent without referring to the pamphlet right away. I did have to read a bit to figure out how to operate but always a good idea anyway. I love this brewer and will definitely use it more than any other coffee maker going forward.

Great unit that makes mornings easy

I love that I can add water and coffee, set the auto-brew program feature, and wake up to fragrant, rich, and delicious coffee. If I can't wait for the brew cycle to finish, I can use the Pause & Pour feature to sneak a quick cup while the machine waits for me. Being able to brew a large 12 cups, there is plenty to share with my spouse and enough for a cup on the road too. Clean up is a breeze as well, as both the pot and the coffee basket are dishwasher safe. I also love that this machine has a clear view window so I can see when the water needs a refill. Overall, an excellent machine that takes care of making my mornings easier and starts my day off right with awesome tasting coffee. Definitely recommend!

A lovely machine that makes very fine coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed using this Hamilton Beach coffee maker for quite a few different reasons!
This makes very fine coffee! I've checked out a lot of coffee makers over the years, and price doesn't always tell the story. This coffee maker has a nice showerhead that distributes the water over the grounds, and the 'trickle down' time is more then appropriate to get the good characteristics of a coffee into your waiting pot, but not so long that your coffee tastes burnt or off.
As someone who loves keeping appliances clean, this is very easy to clean. The water reservoir in back is fully open to the top (with a space for an optional water filter, available at Hamilton Beach's website) and you're able to dry that, the reservoir lid, the basket holder, the removable basket, and the underneath of the shower head fairly well. A clean coffee machine makes good coffee =)
I appreciate the different modes of brewing - strong provides a more robust cup, 1-4 cups has a water distribution time that is more ideal for smaller pots of coffee, and regular definitely brews you nice coffee.
There is a cleaning cycle button, but it's not a truly automatic cleaning cycle like on their other coffee maker models. You have to check in on it and press it again to proceed to the different stages of the cleaning cycle. This is great if you infrequently clean your machine, because you can leave your cleaning solution in perhaps slightly longer if you have more scale or debris to rid your machine of.
The shower head moves out of the way of the brew basket, allowing you to clean the outside of it, and gives you better access to remove the brew basket. A small lip on the lid of the reservoir will thoughtfully place it back over the brew basket in case you forget to reposition it after removing the spent grounds/filter.
Quiet - this coffee maker is oddly quieter then other Hamilton Beach machines I've had in the past. Kind of nice for that 'stealth coffee' that waits for you first thing in the morning ;)
All in all, especially for the price!, this machine makes very fine coffee, is easy to maintain, is programmable and gives you brew strength flexibility.

It also has a 2 hr. shut off which is nice. It is eay to set up and clean. I will recommending this coffee maker to family and friends. I will be buying this as a gift.

Great every day coffee maker!

My two favorite features are 1) I can fill up the water reservoir and clearly see the water line and 2) the ability to stop the flow of coffee coming out completely so I can stick my mug in there to fill it up without waiting for the whole pot to brew.
