Lightweight and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure what I would need these extra 2 burners for but I figured it would be hand if anything ever happened to my stove. Well Easter came and I was cooking for the whole family and I needed 2 more burner to boil some eggs really quick and remembered I had this. It's very light and doesn't take up much room. The 2 burners are different watts one is 1000 and one is 700. Plugged it in and got my eggs to boiling. So easy and convenient. And when I was done wiped it down and stored it away. And while we were chatting we realized this would be great when we are bbqing this summer cause we can have everything cooking outside at once just have to have an extension cord to plug this in and the house won't get hot from the stove. Very happy with this product

Convenient product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted this product for using when making goodies that require dunking in melted chocolate. This is great as can set on table and have space to work. Nice to have for extra cooking space as well. Very easy to use, heats up quickly.

Heats up fast, difficult to clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has two burners of different powers, one at 1000 watts on the left and one at 700 watts on the right. These are just a bit smaller than the small burners on a standard electric stove. The 1000 watt burner is similar in power to a small stovetop burner. It heats up fast and can be used for most applications. The 700 watt burner heats up slower and is better for keeping things warm and heating up things that don't need a high temperature. The biggest complaint is that the burners are not removable and neither are the drip pans making them harder to clean than standard stovetop burners. You have to pull the burner out a bit, tilt it up, and then clean the drip pans, but if you have larger hands it will be a more difficult task.

Perfect for camping!

Heats up quickly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say I am very happy with my Proctor Silex Burner. The burners heat up very quickly, I kid you not, I burnt my finger testing out the coils. I appreciate that the burner system has an indicator light that shines bright when in use. I love using it to make mashed potatoes, the water starts boiling so fast. I can't wait to take this on our next camping trip. This will also come in handy on our summer vacation when staying in our motel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this electric double burner is perfect for my canning, I can put both canners on the stove and have this burner on the side to heat the liquid, it heats fast and is easy to adjust the burner heat to keep things warm.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
