Nice basic fridge

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because there was no small compartment for butter, like the previous model had and the freezer needs to be just a little larger. Other than that, it's still a good product and it saves energy and money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not want to seem ungrateful because it was given to me by the energy program but the freezer length is too long and causes me to have to bend down and forward too much to get into the refrigerator and I am not a tall person. Also, no butter or deli storage.

Good basic Fridge, but could use some design changes

By and large a good, basic refrigerator. I agree with a previous reviewer that a dairy compartment in the door would be a good addition, as would be a light in the freezer, both of which my old fridge had. What irks me, though, is the door. According to a repair man who came out from the store where I bought the appliance, the door design has been changed to a spring-loaded version, which will stop at about a foot out if you don’t give the door a good push. The “auto-close” function is largely useless as a result, as the door stops itself long before it gets to the 5 inch distance. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve pushed the door closed, then looked back a minute or two later to see it hanging open. Very irritating!!
