Good basic Fridge, but could use some design changes

By and large a good, basic refrigerator. I agree with a previous reviewer that a dairy compartment in the door would be a good addition, as would be a light in the freezer, both of which my old fridge had. What irks me, though, is the door. According to a repair man who came out from the store where I bought the appliance, the door design has been changed to a spring-loaded version, which will stop at about a foot out if you don’t give the door a good push. The “auto-close” function is largely useless as a result, as the door stops itself long before it gets to the 5 inch distance. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve pushed the door closed, then looked back a minute or two later to see it hanging open. Very irritating!!

Its Roomier than expected!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though this model is very basic, IM still quite impressed with how roomy it is inside. My fridge prior had glass shelves and since this model is wire shelves, I took the glass panels and put into the new fridge. Even though both fridges were 18cu.ft, this one holds more items. The only thing I wish this model had was a butter compartment, however not a deal breaker. I will be saving money with this fridge every year and just so happy getting a new fridge in general!

Door is warped

Basic Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice basic refrigerator. It doesn't have a light in the freezer or any compartments in the refrigerator to put small items. Like a butter compartment or a deli compartment which I miss from my other fridge. Also you really need to make sure you've pushed the door all the way closed otherwise it can stay open.

Overall nice, but an issue right out of the box

Overall the unit seems nice, but there's an issue where door-close sensor button is too far away from the door bezel and therefore the light never shuts off when the door closes. (You can peek into the freezer area to confirm the light is still on). It stays on for a while until it finally times out. The issue with this is the the light then doesn't come on the next time you open the door. The other issue that this will lead to is the defrost cycle (which typically uses the number of door open/closes detected by this push-button sensor) is not going to function properly, which may then result in icing up, blocking air flow, and other premature malfunction. There is no way to adjust this push button sensor, and it appears to have been manufactured with this misalignment. A concern for sure.
