The Sun Eats This Cover Alive.

Out of the box this cover is amazing, thick and tough. However, after 7 months of ownership this cover DOES NOT hold up in the sun. The red piping has faded and now has turned to dust. I don't think this cover will last much longer. I'm extremely disappointed..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cover worked great for a couple of months, then started to fade and is now not waterproof.

Purchased 5 months ago. Cover is faded and fabric unraveling. Very poor quality.

Very poor quality

Absolute crap. My original cover lasted over 3 years before finally turning grey and the red turning to pink. New cover already turning pink and mutating to a brown tint after 4 weeks exposure to sun Pitiful that the line is degrading like it is. Almost like they forgot to add the UV protection.

Poor UV resistance (UK)

Just a year in, the British climate has completely bleached the (Big Joe) cover with parts of the cord covers disintegrating. Not great 'UV resistant technology'! Couldn't be happier with the overall Joe product quality, this lets it down.

Don’t buy this.

I bought the cover less than 18 months ago and it is now completely destroyed and colors heavily faded. We have used it under normal circumstances. The company would not support a bad quality product despite it being a few months past the warranty. Don’t buy this cover, you will regret it.

Keeps your Joe clean and dry but breathes well

Most covers on the market either aren't waterproof or they are and don't breathe causing condensation/rust/mold to form. The Big Joe cover allows for adequate airflow up and around the grill so it stays dry from inside as well as outside.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The cover seems to be well made, however the iconic red Kamado Joe kettle symbol and the word Joe don't really look good in pink. I've had the cover 3 months and the red has rapidly faded to pink, and may fade away within a few more months at the present rate. I've had a cover for my gas grill from a major manufacturer that features their red logo. The color on it has not faded in five years of exposure and use. Kamado Joe needs to look into options for their red color. It doesn't affect the operation, it just doesn't look good for such an otherwise well made line of products.
I would recommend this to a friend!
