Incessant, unstoppable, terrible blinking lights

Like others here, the four illuminated mix settings constantly blink. How can you ruin a machine by having this incessant blinking? Why, why, why?!?! Not only is this the universal indicator that something is very wrong (e.g., motor overheated) it is just terrible distracting. I'm so upset. Now I have to decide if I'm going to add to landfill because of what seems like an idiotic design decision that has nothing to do with the functionality of the machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I homeschool 4 kids and usually buy the pre-shredded veggies out of convenience. This food processor is a a whole game changer. I’m able to but fresher veggies from the market and pretty much shred and dice and slice in seconds. It’s great for making salads, it’s great to purée raw or cooked veggies. It’s super easy to clean up, dishwasher safe and doesn’t take up a to of space. This is pretty much a veggie lovers dream and we love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cuisinart Core Custom 13 Cup Food Processor has a heavy duty motor. Comes with a Triton work bowl and Sm./Med/Lg pushers. Offers reversible shredding disk and adjustable slicing blade. These can tackle making breads, pasta, meat, vegetables and more. Very easy to operate. Accessories are stored inside the hub to save space. Suction cups on the bottom for stability. Dishwasher safe. This is helping our family eat healthier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This food processor is a wonderful kitchen assistant. It was a challenge to separate the lid from the 13-cup food holder. Fortunately, there is a video tutorial. The processor is easy to assemble and even easier to operate. Select the blade, press the button for your rate of speed and add the vegetables. I was in awe of the transformed food. The processing time varies depending on the item, volume and rate of speed. This gorgeous gadget is a heavy-duty worker yet conveniently sized to fit comfortably on the counter. Processed foods are now a diet staple.

Disappointed, whole berries get stuck atop blade.

First time using my new 13 cup food processor, I made cranberry relish and was disappointed to find that MANY of the whole cranberries I was attempting to slice, got stuck ABOVE the blade between the blade & the cover still MOSTLY WHOLE - at the space around the rim, and then proceeded to circle around stuck in that position rather than being shredded by the blade and dropping into the bowl. Meanwhile, other berries dropped into the bowl mostly whole (basically not shredded). This created a big mess, because I had to repeatedly open the lid to extract the whole and mostly whole berries to reinsert through the feeder after replacing the lid once again. VERY DISAPPOINTING and MESSY! Had used my mom's old Cuisinart 14 cup processor many times since the 1980s to make cranberry relish and this NEVER happened. MAJOR design flaw.

I am super happy with this food processor! It does absolutely everything I would ever want it to do. Everything I’ve put through it has come out on the other end consistent. No jam ups. Each and every morsel is cut, chopped, or shredded consistent. This processor has made life so much easier for me! Thank you Cuisinart!

Also, the rack to store the tools is confusing. I also have a problem with one of the blades unable to detatch from the rod.

First I will say I love this new food processor! The ease and help it has provided has been immense. The only reason I am giving it a four star is because unlike years ago when you bought a food processor and were given all kinds of optional cutting, chopping, slicing, dicing blades this give you three options and you have to purchase other blades if you need them.
