[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This processor is a workhorse. I had one exactly like it fo 30 years before it burned out. I was thrilled to find almost the same one. Only difference is the plastic bowl is not as strong as my last cuisinart. Hope this one lasts another 30 years. Powerful machine and won't disappoint.

Going on two and a half years

I use this processor every day - except Sunday, my day "off". I beat the crap out of this machine. Shredding and pulverizing lacinato kale by the crammed fistfuls, beets through the shredder disc and pulverized below - I have actually destroyed a shredder disc doing this in anger one too many times. Must be more gentle. I lose my temper in the kitchen easily and take it out on the machines. I think that Cuisinart - pronounced "Cousin Art" around here to lighten the mood - despite the reviews comparing it to earlier model build quality, makes a fine, robust appliance. I am getting another one, and relegating the "old" one as insurance/backup, because I cannot be without a food processor for even one day. My wife requires daily fresh vegan fare, which I, poor soul, am duty-bound to provide.

It’s ok. It’s not as good as the Cuisinart processor I had many years back. I wanted the shredding disc with 2 sizes, but not sure I’ll even keep it.

We replaced our broken 11-cup Cuisinart with model. It is significantly larger and that is a drawback as far as I am concerned. We don't need the 13-cup, but wanted the additional buttons.
