Great Offiice Jet Printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved my printer over a month ago and set it up immediately. It was nicely packaged ensuring it was in perfect condition when it arrived. The instructions for setup were simple and easy to follow. I had the printer setup in less than five minutes. The printer works fantastically with my computer. The only thing I didn't like about it was you can't print wirelessly. I didn't notice it wasn't wireless or blue tooth compatible when I purchased it. I didn't look for it either so it was my fault for sure so the printer still gets five stars.

I've found myself needing to print a lot of documents and realized that I needed something more heavy-duty than my ink jet printer, so I decided to give this one a try. I am pleased to say that it has exceeded my expectations! After a super simple setup, I am easily able to quickly print out documents and run out the door without having to worry about running out of ink every two seconds. It's always ready without having to warm up unlike my previous printer that seemed to take ages to get prepared to print the first document. I highly recommend this to anyone needing something to step up their home office game!

Fast and Reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HP Laserjet Pro 4001dn is a great addition to your home setup. It churns out sharp professional-quality prints quickly, perfect for everything from school projects to personal documents. Setup was a bit tricky as it didn't want to automatically detect the printer right away. When it finally did, the pop-up box disappeared too quickly and didn't come back. I ended up downloading the software directly from HP to get it to install properly. The information about it printing from any device was very vague. I finally found in the pictures online that you can use the "HP Smart" app to print from any device. Needless to say, this did not work when I tried setting up the printer through the app. It didn't detect the printer on my network and also was not listed in the drop down to manually add it (states that the printer cannot be configured with this app). So, that was a bit letdown. The duplex printing feature is a great paper saver. While it's not the quietest, the slight noise is worth the efficiency and reliability. I don't like that the replacement ink cartridges are so expensive due to the proprietary chip that is in them. Overall, it still is a great investment for anyone looking for a high-performing, dependable printer for home use.

I got this for simple home use to print basic documents/shipping labels etc. I did not need fancy features. This one does a great job for my needs.
