Awesome grill

Have had this grill for a few months and I love it. I previously used a Weber Summit gas and a Masterbilt electric smoker and they have been sitting never getting used anymore. I have the Classic and Jr. and they are fantastic and fun to use. I will be adding the Big Joe III in the near future.

Such a step up from a bullet smoker

Get the Classic I, and a charcoal basket. And a bluetooth meat probe if you don’t already have one. Don’t bother with the expensive versions of the Classic. With KJ lump charcoal, you can light and maintain a 250F fire for 14 hours for a Boston Butt, and still have charcoal in the basket. There are tons of videos on YouTube, each one has a new trick to make it easier or more consistent.

Very efficient use of fuel and flexibility of the grill to smoke at very low temperatures to searing at high temperatures. Effortlessly maintains temperatures for long periods of time,

First cook was for Xmas Eve, smoked turkey breast, turned out great! Even used the box it came in as a temporary table. Looking forward to more cooks! Great size for the two of us.

This thing is so fun to cook on, I like to use it at home when cooking for only 2 people. The stand makes it easy to move around, I can pick it up myself. Also the stand keeps the Jr high enough off the ground it can set it on anything without worrying about the heat damaging it. Speaking of heat this thing can get over 600 degrees fast. I use it at home more than the regular but I can’t wait to take it RVing with us.

This was a great deal. You can’t find another Kamado of the same quality for this price.
