[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Joe last month. It was my first experience with a ceramic egg. I’ve had a kettle grill for a few years and a good friend had a Joe and he would always bring amazing smoked meats to work. I was convinced. Bought myself the Joe late last month and I’m currently working on my 3rd cook. First 2 I made smoked turkey and pork ribs. Both came out great, mastering the temperature is the trickiest part but on my 3rd cook it’s going beautifully. Working on another turkey right now. Highly recommend, it’s a game changer, a great skill to master, and you will leave people in awe with the meats you will smoke. Will by Joe jr soon so I can take with me on trips.

Great Smoker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hubby has this - he is the grill master in the family. He absolutely loves it and make the most incredible smoked meats! He loves doing ribs, pork butt, pork belly and other goodies. He watches barbecue/smoker videos, TV shows, etc. and really takes pride in what he is able to cook on this. It has become his Sunday passion. He's only had it for a couple of years and is sorry that he did not get one much sooner. I know he would definitely recommend it!

The accessories that it comes with out of the box is also a great addition without needing to buy extra ones. Down the line, I will definitely get the big Joe so I can smoke even more!

Exceptional Interior Construction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a general manager of a hardware store for a number of years and we were an authorized dealer for the Big Green Competitor. I must have built hundreds of the other guys grills, but at the end of the day I bought a Kamado Joe for myself. One of the most common ceramic components to crack inside the green guys grills was the firebox or the ceramic bowl at the bottom that holds the majority of the charcoal. The reason for that is because their firebox was all one piece. But with my Kamado Joe Classic, the firebox was engineered to be multiple pieces which reduces the likely hood of cracking over time. I’ve had the grill for over 6 years and use it year round in all temperature ranges and never have I had a single crack in the ceramics. I attribute it to the engineering of the interior pieces. On top of that, the Joe Classic came standard with side tables whereas the other guys grill you had to purchase those separately. Overall it’s a better design and the price you pay is great for what you get. I would buy this grill all over again but I’ll never have to thanks to the lifetime warranty!! Thanks Kamado Joe!

Heavy Duty Grill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initial impressions: Just recently bought this grill and it is so much more heavy duty than my old steel grill.
My grill was missing the shelves, but warranty was quick and painless to get the replacement parts.
Looking forward to testing out the grill.
