Bought the Jr 5 months ago and could not be happier it lights fast and keeps heat where you set the temp stays even when it is cold or hot very good construction and quality.

I got this grill for my 50th birthday. I have used it atleast every other weekend for the last 2 years. (Even in the dead of winter). It does everything well from basic grilling to smoking to using it as an outdoor oven.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had my Joe for several years and is my go to for grilling steak, chicken and ribs. I particularly like the speed at which it cooks while still maintaining the quality of the finished product. The meat is always moist and flavored well with the smoke from the fire. If this one ever fails, I will be getting a replacement!

I absolutely love my big Joe series 1, It is a beast just what I needed so I can do multiple items at a time. It takes a bit of practice to dial in the temps but once I get a handle on that, it will be perfect.

I have owned a large BGE for about 15 years and wanted a smaller BBQ for our cottage. I purchased a Joe Jr. I am amazed at the quality of the BBQ and it is a perfect size for two people to make a full out BBQ with steaks, potatoes and veggies. If you have a few friends over it will hold 7 large burgers. The price was more than fair, quality exceptional and the extras that came with it (grill lifter, ash rod cleaner and round cooking stone) are awesome. The BGE came with no options. If I were buying a new large BBQ, it would not be the BGE! The Joe Jr. cooks flawlessly and the only bad thing about it is I have put on weight because of the great meals I have made. You will not go wrong buying a Joe Jr. or any of their other BBQs. Love my Joe Jr.!

I have owned my big Joe for more than 10 years, I think. I’m completely satisfied with it. I have cooked just about every kind of meat. You can imagine on it, from brisket to salmon, and it has never failed me. It comes up to the right temperature quickly and easily, and it holds that temperature literally for half a day. On some cooks that have gone six hours or more, I’ve set the temperature and put the meat on, and left the house to go play golf all day. When I come back, the temperature in the Joe is just where I left. It’s quite amazing.
