[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Joe Jr a little over a month for small cooks when I’m cooking just a few burgers, a couple steak, a few chicken breast etc. I’ve used it at least once a week since I received it. I’m still getting used to the amount of fuel needed for long and short cooks vs hot & inferno mode. I’m very satisfied with my purchase. I would highly recommend it.

Full featured even if not top of the line.

I've owned pellet smokers and an ugly drum smoker but was always disappointed in the ability of those to grill and sear. Kamado Joe does it all! Takes a little bit of practice to learn how to control the heat for long smokes but lots of YouTube videos available to teach you. I don't think I can ever go for anything else after learning how to use a kamado cooker.
