Not going back to gas grills

Got my Big Joe 1 a few months ago, absolutely love it! I’ve used gas grills most of my life and most currently a pellet grill. This thing is my go to, don’t think I’ll ever go back to using a gas/pellet grill.

Too fragile.

Still using it after 8 years even though the interior ceramics as well as the outer ceramic shell are cracked. Afraid to move it for fear of it falling apart. Still functional and provides good results.

Compact and perfect for during the week cooks!

I bought the Kamado Joe Jr. about a year ago. I had always cooked on gas grills. Once we tried charcoal cooking as a family we have not gone back. The Jr. is great size for small families and cooks great. You get all the benefits of a Kamado grill, but a nice compact size, so less charcoal and easier clean up.

Easy to use, came with extra accessories

Only had the grill 3 weeks love it. We recently move and I sold my Egg with the house. This grill replaces an Egg and I’m glad I changed to the Kamado Joe. The Joe seems more substantial lid closes better, better seals, temp control easier.

Amazing Grill

This grill really can do everything. Its versatility is unmatched. If you are looking at this vs a pellet grill or something else you won’t be disappointed going with the Kamado Joe. And it’s basically a grill for life with the warranty. No pellet grill manufacture has anything like that and it’s for a reason.

Amazing

I bought my first Kamado Joe a few months ago. I freaking love this thing. It does everything!! So far I’ve smoked 4 Boston Butts, done a rotisserie chicken and ribs twice. I’ve searched for a great BBQ joint in Portland and never found one I really liked compared to my old southern bbq places. In only 4 months, I have cooked the best pulled pork I’ve ever had. There is a small learning curve, but it is soooo worth it. I no longer search for excellent Bbq, cuz it’s now in my back yard. And it is also fun!!

Excellent Every Time

I’ve tried many scenarios with my Kamado Joe and made all kinds of rookie mistakes, but I’ve honestly never had anything that wasn’t delicious come out of this grill. It’s been ultra-impressive! I will never return to the land of propane - there’s just no comparison!

Awesome Small Kamado

I made an amazing caramelized onions and tomatoes chicken sausage in this grilled and turned out amazing. Even my son who doesn't like vegetables ate this dinner. I made the sausages on the grill, added a cast iron pan with butter, monk sugar, salt, pepper. This grill is good to make a quick small dinner.
