Built my outdoor kitchen around The Kamado Joe

I bought this over the Green Egg and am I glad I did it does not matter what I cook on it, how I cook it, it always ends up being the most delicious enjoyable part of the meal that comes out of the Kamado.
Chicken used to be my least favorite meat at a bbq I will say with the Kamado it has become one of my favorites.
This is my favorite thing to use it makes every meat taste great and makes me look like a top chef BBQ has upped my game for sure!!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

A perfect Christmas Gift from the family to a guy who grills in some fashion 5-6 days a week. This is my forth cooker "on staff" , and we so look forward to our week-ends with it. Perfect for empty-nesters like us, but we have fed 6 on one cooking cycle.
It was a lot of fun learning to use it, and I still pull out the manual just to help with temperature control. Nothing much is better than soaking in the spa on the back deck, while KJ Jr. surrounds the deck with tasty aromas. Clean up is a whiz, and the idea to reuse un-spent coals is a great tip!

Best grill In the world

I’ve had my Kamado Joe Classic for years. I used to have four grills; gas, charcoal, a small and a large smoker. My wife was hesitant to let my buy my Joe because I already had so many. After the first cook, she said “Ok, I’m glad I let you buy that”. After cooking in the Joe for a while, I got rid of all the other grills. There was no need for me to keep them since the Joe does it all. I don’t even have to bake in the house anymore. No matter what’s cooked on it, it’s amazing!!

Just smoked a brisket for over 10 hours and the firebox was still half full of charcoal! Amazing how little fuel it uses!

Fantastic product. Easy to assemble and cooking/smoking is awesome. Got this for my fiancé as a Christmas present, he stated this is the best Christmas gift he has ever gotten since that one Christmas when he was 10 and got a Nintendo... lol! He now smokes everything. No complaints here!

Great when something isn’t broken

Love this thing when parts aren’t broken. I had to replace my fire box with in a month or two of purchase, the plastic shelves randomly break when not in use, my top ring that holds the entire top to the hinge was just broken one morning when we came out of the house. I have waited months for replacement rings only to get the wrong ones and I also noticed while removing my broken rings that the top ring and fire box are again broken looks like a jig saw puzzle inside. I am the only one to have these issues? Or are they all just junk???? Starting to wish I had purchased a big green egg instead
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My First Kamado

I came from the Traeger Pellet Grill family - thought it was three best since sliced bread... later added a Blackstone griddle... well then if course had to research more into these Kamado type grills...
After intensive research through internet, YouTube and more, started narrowing it to the KJ... although I liked the features of the newer models: air hinge, etc..., the lower cost of the Classic I allowed me to buy a ton of accessories....
Long story short, I've had a blast learning the ins and outs of Kamado cooking... very well insulated, easy to get the hang of whether low and slow, grilling a burger, spinning a chicken or making a pizza - my KJ is ang awesome and fun tool!
I would recommend this to a friend!
