The setup was easy and using the grill was amazing. I smoked some baby back ribs and I was impressed. It’s amazing how well this product can hold the perfect temperature. Best grill I have ever had.

Best gift my family every got ourselves!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a dad. A couple of years ago my family got me the Classic Joe as a birthday gift. I wasn't really a BBQ guy, though we have always enjoyed going out to a good BBQ restaurant. The Kamado Joe has been the best addition to our family's culinary tool kit ever! I have smoked Thanksgiving turkeys, woodfired pizzas, and so, so many delicious pork butts! We use the KJ year-round, and love it. We have even splurged on $150 beef tenderloins to cook on the KJ - three times - and each time they come out perfectly, better than we have ever had at any restaurant. If you're not sure whether or not a Kamado Joe is worth the investment, trust me - it definitely is!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third kamado joe, if I had purchased this first it would probably be my only one. The big joe is the perfect size for an average family. If you are grilling for a family this is the perfect size. You are able to utilize the divide and conquer system to have hot and cold zones. My one hang up before purchasing was the hinge. I can confidently say the weight of opening the hinge is not much and I can easily open it with one hand. I would recommend this to anyone in the market for a kamado style grill, I love it.

I even used this thing during a tropical storm with no issues!

I might be a Kamado Addict

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally bought the Classic Joe after months of research. I wanted a grill/smoker that I could learn on considering I’m overall new to smoking. I knew I wanted a kamado and I knew I wanted it to last since there are so many cheap versions on the market.
4 months later and I couldn’t be happier about my decision. I use this thing about 4x a week and I don’t ever get tired of the results. Once you get the hang of controlling your temps you’re only limited by your own stomach. I’ve smoked the best whole chickens, pork butts, briskets (well brisket still needs work but you get the point). Don’t even get me started on the perfect searing I’ve been getting. Regardless of if I’m smoking or grilling I have yet to find a downside to this grill.
I am so addicted to the results and I just keep buying more attachments for this thing. The half-moon griddle attachment lets me create my breakfast sandwiches on the weekend and the pizza attachment now saves me from mediocre/expensive pizza places.
Overall the kamado joe has blown away my expectations. I can’t say enough good things and I think this a perfect start to my addiction.
