After much research I bought the Kamado Joe Classic I for my son. His review to me was he 1st cooked a pork roast just to season the grill. Next he cooked a spatchcock turkey for his in-laws. He sent pictures and it looked really good. a 13 lb turkey for 6 people. Not many left overs. He is really excited about learning more and grilling (and smoking) on the grill. I see some additional accessories in the future.

The Joe Jr. is a great BBQ. We have enjoyed grilling steaks, burgers, chicken as well as slow roasting our Christmas Prime Rib. I truly enjoy this BBQ. I used a Green Egg for 12 years and the Kamado is by far my favorite BBQ.
