The Joe Jr is a miniature version of the larger grills with the same quality and ceramics. Don’t underestimate it because of the size! You can cook anything on it as long as it will fit and I have. It too can hold 225 or 625. It’s a great grill for quick meals or to cook a pork shoulder. You can also carry it for portability. Recommend

Got the Joe Jr for a birthday gift. Already had the classic and will not own any other brand. I’m hooked and will never purchase anything but Joe products for the rest of my life!

Pellet smoker went in the trash.

How Did We Ever Live Without This?

We have owned our Kamado Joe Classic I grill since 2013 and the more we use it, the more we love it. We grill, smoke, bake, and do so many things in it. Our grilled food never tasted better as the heat cooks it thoroughly and infuses more charcoal flavor than any grill we have ever owned.
Ribs are smokey and so full of flavor and fall off the bones delicious. Pizza has never been better using the pizza stone as we cook the homemade dough so it is crispy, but not burned. We add wood to the charcoal and have the best tasting pizza you can get anywhere -- all our favorite toppings and done to perfection.
Even using it as an oven to bake cookies for dessert is a wonder. Is there anything this Joe can't do? It seems inadequate to call it just a grill because with the ceramic inner chamber keeping in all the moisture and infusing whatever is on the inside with flavor and goodness, it is our outdoor oven, grill, pizza oven, rib maker, and more. It seems the longer we own it, the more we discover about its many assets.

I purchased the Kamado Joe Classic as my first kamado type grill. This is the most amazing grill I have ever used and I've used all types of grills. I simply cannot see myself using any other type of grill now. The build quality is superb! Functionality is light years ahead of the competition! I cannot find a single thing to complain about! Highly recommend!!
