Great Introduction to the World of Smoking

There is no going back. I love my Kamado Joe and use it regularly. My best smoke? Home made BACON! I got a whole pork belly, and followed the instructions in my smoking cookbook (the one given to me by a friend complete with greasy sauce stains, and no front cover!) and created the perfect accompaniment to breakfast. I got to use Maple syrup made at home, and that was special too. The consistent heat, and consistent smoke was a dream to work with.

Best & Most versatile cooker

We have been having our Kamado Joe for several years now and I’ve cooked everything from burgers, steak, chicken, vegetables, pizza, to even chilli. If you want a durable, well made, easy to operate cooker for your patio, you can’t beat the Kamado line. It even makes something as simple and inexpensive as chicken leg quarters into a great meal. With everything to choose from leg quarters (crispy on the outside and juicy inside) are literally my wife’s favorite. She says nothing gives them flavor like our Kamado Joe (and I agree).

Bought this summer of last year and so glad I did. I have used it for everything. Kids don't usually eat anything except unless it's gone through the Joe. It gets up to temp in no time and it holds it for a really really long time. Love it. Made ribs, wings, whole chickens, beef, burgers, and the list goes on. Everything I've made has been enjoyed tremendously by all!!

Komado Joe Grill

My daughter bought me this grill at first I didn’t like it only because I was used to my Weber Grill but it’s still here is amazing easy to use and cooks BBQ amazing cleans up easy much better then my old grill also very solid I love it and you will also believe me I was hesitant but I use it also in prime time winter it works like a charm great!!

Charcoal never tasted so good

In received my Big Joe I as a gift from my wife. She was tired of the pellet smoker and read online how fantastic cooking on the Kamado Joe was. To be honest, I was nervous as I’ve only used propane or a smart pellet smoker where the temperature can be dialed in. So I watched a few how to and getting started videos and wow! It’s easier than I thought and the flavor is amazing! There’s a top ten do’s and dont’s out there that I watched a few times but the overall versatility with the half moon indirect heat plates and multiple height settings for those and the grill grates make it so much more fun to use than anything else I own. I couldn’t have picked a better upgrade to my grilling game!

Best Grill/Smoker-I Miss it!

I Loved my Kamado Joe Jr. It was perfect for meals for a few people or just me and my wife! I love how it holds heat perfectly and it is so easy to control with the vent dampers. I’m an avid grill/bbq smoker/at home pit master! I bought the perfect size brisket for me and my wife to eat on for a couple days! It was the best brisket I ever cooked, tender, juicy, and with the perfect smoke ring! It also cooks great chicken wings, with the deflector plate you can make a great reverse seared steak! I made the tragic mistake of trusting the neighborhood apartment I stayed at to let it cool off for half the night in my garage driveway. When I came out to bring it to the patio it had been stolen! Now that me and my wife have left apartment life I look forward to getting another one day, we had many unforgettable meals on it, it’s game changing, worth every penny!! A work of art for BBQ Craft!

An indispensable tool for any house

I bought this almost 10 years ago and then bought another one for my vacation home. I cannot imagine leaving without it. In the summer I barbecue at least 5 times a week. Often debate with my wife whether we should put something in the oven or on the Joe and the Joe wins all the time. First, I can get the temperature to 500-600 degrees in a heart beat faster than our state of the arm oven can ever get there. Second, the heat distribution is always amazing, no burned or raw sides. I cook steaks at 900 degrees, pizza at 700, salmon at 500 and pretty much smoke my ribs, pulled pork and brisket at 220. Whatever temperature I choose, I can achieve. Joe II is even better in temperature control.
