Great kamado, no assembly or use instructions

Great kamado. Great build quilt. Very high quality materials all around. Biggest complaint — the user manual is nearly useless. It’s is about 250 pages, but doesn’t even tell you how to put the grill together. 6 pages of some unhelpful drawings, with no assembly instructions. The remaining 244 pages are the same drawings, in different languages (but almost no words. Really bizarre). I literally had to use YouTube for assembly instructions. The manual does not even tell you how to use the various accessories, nor how to install them. Also, the installation of the ceramic “petals” in the fire box is super janky, They don’t really fit together well, so all of the assemblies on top of the fire box are unstable and wiggle around when cooking. After I tho0ught I was done i had left over parts and no idea what they were for. In hindsight, assembly is involved but not terrible. I spent more time watching YouTube videos.

I went with the Classic III because of the accessories that came with it. The sloroller, 3-Tier Divide & Conquer Cooking System,Stainless Steel Charcoal Basket with the 1/2 basket separator. I now have control over all of my cooking / Smoking all on my Kamado Joe Classic III at 3 different levels of heat, This makes everything simple. I have added the Pizza DoJoe & Joetisserie to expand everything I can do with my Kamado Joe Classic III

Best Gift Ever Received

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very Happy Husband here. My wife bought this as a Birthday gift now 2 years ago. I have not gone one weekend without firing up my Joe III! I have learned to smoke all kinds of meats, and have become that "grill dad". The immense heat that can be built in this thing is amazing. Steakhouse searing for the ribeyes and strips, low and slow for pork butts, and the cast iron plate for smash burgers and seafoods. There is nothing negative to say about the grill, it is used every weekend, heck I even made bread and pizza during Covid days. I hear people say, "oh you have the expensive grill" well the price is paid back at the value and quality of the build and results of amazing foods! I even have gone as far as become a gardener and make smoked peppers and salsa, again, unless possibilities and I LOVE my Kamado Joe almost as much as the person who bought it for me. ;-) Happy Spouse Happy House lol

What an incredible grill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been a charcoal guy but this is my first ceramic grill and I adore it - from grilling to using the slo-roller to smoke its so versatile and delivers on every thing I put on there. Did a 33lbs turkey spatchcocked for thanksgiving. Plus is looks great in the yard too

I bought the Big Joe 3 package a year and a half ago and it’s become my primary grill and smoker out of several options that I have. I’ve added several accessories which extend the fun and functionality.

Best All Around Cooker

I have had offsets, stick burners, Weber Kettle, and Propane Grill.
The KJ BJ3 replaces them all !!
The KJ BJ3 was delivered ahead of the ETA and came assembled unlike the BGE, and all the accessories were also included.
The Rotisserie accessory was purchased and worked better than expected.
Would highly recommend if you are interested in a single serious cooker.
