It is easy to start and there is a surprising amount of charcoal left for the next cook once I have shut it down. I have cooked some amazing meats and would definitely recommend this to anyone that is on the fence.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my KJB3 in April and it was delivered on June 15th. I have cooked on this grill every week. I have purchased the dojoe, jotisserie and the baskets. This was the best decision I could of made. After watching smokingdadbbq, I learned how easy it was to manage the temperature of this big grill. I found it was so easy that once you set the temp, it's almost a set it and forget it. The KBJ3 allows you to do multi level cooking. This is a grill for a life time.

Easy to run and operate as multipurpose smoker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years I was on the fence, about getting a ceramic-style cooker. Slowly bringing a fire to the correct temp using intake and exhaust vents seemed daunting compared to my pellet smoker. After watching the Kamado Joe YouTube channel I realized I was missing out on how easy it was to maintain temperatures on lump charcoal. The flavor of lump charcoal and small woodchucks is far superior to anything a pellet smoker puts out. I love the versatility of being able to sear steaks, smoke ribs, and bake a pizza on one cooker. I love the Kamado Joe Classic!
