My first real smoker, heavily researched

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2 months ago I lived in an apartment and was only allowed a gas grill on my balcony. Life circumstances had forced me to part with my Webber kettle, I was ok with it though. I told myself soon I would live in a house again and I wanted a smoker anyway. I binge several YouTube chefs regularly and they all have that big green rival of Kamado Joe's...That's the one I thought I wanted. But, any kamado is an investment so I researched. I dove further down the YouTube rabbit hole, I consulted my friends, family, and several BBQ social media communities. What I found time and again, is that while no one was militantly dissatisfied with the Green, everyone that had both an egg and a Joe, seemed to like their Joe's better. The gasket is superior, it comes with a standard set of accessories that makes it easy for a first time owner, and what ultimately put me over the edge is Green's new CEO gutted their stellar warranty for 2024 screwing both their customers AND dealers in the process. This made Kamado Joe the far superior choice in my eyes. I'll be 37 in May, I'm just starting my BBQ journey and I have a lot to learn. I fully expect to leave my Big Joe III to my family for future generations to enjoy, it's that well built.

30 Some odd cooks in...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my Xmas present to me in November 2023. I've done about 30+ cooks on it since. Even baked a loaf of bread this winter when the power went out and the kitchen stove wasn't an option. I have not been disappointed in this unit. Some reviews might lament that they didn't get the Big Joe. For me this is the perfect size for my wife and I. I've never owned a Kamado style cooker before and this was something I wanted to try in my old age (I'm 78). Again, glad I made this choice.

Andy always spoke of this grill as an investment in enjoyable, lifetime grilling. Andy kept preaching, and then, after too many years, I just said yes, and "WOW" do I wish I had just acted sooner. What an amazing product!! If you are also waiting, please don't - just order and enjoy!! Chris in Ocala

Best grill EVER!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I was on the edge - should I keep the gas grill, or make the leap. Well. I am now feet first. It took me two cooks to get the charcoal ration correct, but I could not have been more pleased. I have grilled, smoked, seared, rotisseried (is that a word?) The versatility, flavor and results are all the BOMB!! I am a complete and utter convert. I have had gas, pellet and regular charcoal grills in the past. I am a Certified BBQ Judge, former restauranter, and you average Joe. I could not have asked for a better unit for all the attributes. So not hesitate, jump on into the deep end!

The ability to set and hold smoking temperatures with ease has revolutionized my bbq menu! With the divide and conquer rack system, this bbq provides unmatched flexibility! All in one grill. Amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the big joe III for 8 months. I used it at least 3 times a week, I love it. I does everything grill, low and slow smoke and bake. I have the rotisserie attached and it's great. Once you stabilize the grill at the desired temp it's a dream. No temp fluctuations. My stick burner smoker hasn't seen any action since we made our joe part of the family
