[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned this grill for over a year and use it at least once per week. I haven't used my gas grill since purchasing it. I have the Slo-Roller, DoJoe, and Joetisserie as well as the cast iron and stainless steel half moon grates. The grill and accessories are all very well made, and I highly recommend these products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] won my 18inch kamado grill,which is still setting in the living room,which i won from a bourbon maker.am a 68 yoa diabled old fart on ss . basically a microwaver,but would like to learn how to use the grill. being in south fla,it would be a great assist when power goes out due to hurricanes. no way to do photos.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have now had my Big Joe III for 3 years. I can honestly say it's the one stop shop for all your needs. Grilling, Baking, Cooking Pizza, Smoking and so on. Do understand there is a learning curve to these cookers. They can get out of hand while grilling if you are not watching your food or put the right amount of charcoal. I have fed 80ppl easily off of this bbq. Smoked butts over night, grilled during the party and I served all my guest a delicious meal. Remembe, practice makes perfect. If I had one draw back, I would say having to switch out the accessories while cooking can be a big pain at times. Buy some welders gloves to protect your hands and forearms. They work the best out of all the gloves I have used.

First Kamado and I’m hooked!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I came from using Weber gas and Recteq pellet grills. I was nervous and excited to try my hand at the more involved Kamado style grill. After just under 2 months of ownership I can say I’m glad I made the switch! It may not have the easy going of gas or pellet, but the finished results make up for that in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Jumped in with both feet and bought a Big Joe III. This is my first ceramic cooker and it is GREAT. Most things are intuitive and You Tube videos were helpful. Been cooking outdoors since college (1966), used lots of products. Nothing in the past is comparable, not even close. So far pork rump roast, spare ribs, chicken and the absolute best 15 lb. brisket I've ever cooked. 12 hours of uninterrupted smoke @ 230 F and 2 hours finishing @ 325 F. Next on the carnivore list is low and slow smoked Cod. Never heard of this before, but if it turns out as good as it sounds, going to call it "Low Rider Cod". Veggies are super easy with the expansion rack system. Big eye opener was how long the fire lasts once you get the cooker stabilized. Easy clean up too!
It's evident that the company has put a lot of thought into creating this gem. If I could offer a suggestion, since the Big Joe is so heavy, perhaps you might consider larger casters for this model.
