My most versatile grill

It performs great and always gives an awesome flavor. I have a ton of grills but if I could only keep one, it would be this.

Go to for long cooks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically use my big Joe for long cooks. The most fuel efficient cooker I’ve ever used.. I’ve got a big family and typically cook for 30ish people. I wind up doing the cooking because everyone loves the flavor and tenderness that comes off this grill. Once I get my temps set, I rarely adjust the vents. If you like long cooks and want capacity, this is the most fool proof grill you could own

Great, versitile grill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my Big Joe Series 3 for over 2 and a half years and I LOVE it! I'm able to do so much more than I ever was on any of my gas grills - grill steaks, burgers, etc; roast chickens; smoke ribs, pork butts, etc; even bake in it! Once you get the hang of temperature control, it's so easy to make a wide variety of delicious food that has that authentic outdoor, charcoal/wood fire flavor. I would suggest Smokin' Dad BBQ's temperature control guide & videos to shorten that learning curve. I have recommended a Kamado Joe to several people and will continue to do so without hesitation. It was somewhat expensive, but I'm pretty sure that it's the last grill I'll ever need to buy. No replacing gas grills that rust away every few years.

Big Joe Series III wins HANDS DOWN!

But, I've looked at Kamado Joe grills for years and I finally got the grill of my bbq dreams - the Big Joe 3. We splurged and picked up the largest version in order to cook many things at once. It's the perfect addition to my outside kitchen as we entertain family and friends. I totally love it. Kamado grills are high quality and they thought of everything! I highly recommend this grill to all my friends and family!
