I never write reviews but I can't say enough about my Kamado Joe - Big Joe III. I spent a lot of time researching smokers before I purchased anything and nothing came close, it's even Comsumer Reports number one pick for a Kamado grill. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I bought this late summer last year after a TON of research and consideration. I wanted something that could smoke a brisket, do high heat burgers and steaks, and even higher heat pizzas....and something that could rotissierie as well would be even better. The Big Joe does all of this.
I wanted something that could run low and slow by itself for hours without fussing at building and relighting, like with a snake charcoal setup. My first cook was an overnight 18 hr brisket smoke. 230 before going to sleep, 231 next morning, no waking up, etc.
Truly a great product. The biggest challenge in my mind is saving up the cash, but thankfully, you get what you pay for.

Great product - poor service

I bought the unused big joe at a yard sale. I called to get support. I understand the reasoning not to transfer the warranty because I don’t buy to new. I called and got a manual and felt alone getting this unit up and running. Searched online for the parts I needed and watched a lot of YouTube videos. Got the parts and have been cooking on it every chance I get. It is amazing and really love it. Just sad I couldn’t get any support because I didn’t buy it new. I understand.
