where's the light?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new dryer works great Sensors are pretty accurate. Love the Wrinkle setting. My only complaint is NO Light in dryer My 15 yr old GE had a light (which never burned out) that went on upon opening. I do miss a light Every thing else is great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dryer does not dry the clothes. Seems the heating element does not work. I tried to dry clothes on all different settings for about 3 hours and clothes were still wet. The dryer needs to be replaced.

New Dryer Repeatedly Shuts Off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are on our second Frigidaire MODEL: FFRE4120SW2. For some reason within ten minutes of putting in or clothes to dry the dryer shuts down and the clean filter light lights up. This happens even though there is nothing or barely anything in the lint catch/ filter. This happened on the first dryer and was the reason for replacement and on the second dryer on the first use. It then continued to shut off and give us the same error message. We have had maintenance come in and vacuum out the line twice and it is still happening. What is the issue? Very frustrating.

Frigidaire Dryer Model FFRE4120SW

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the sense that my old dryer was about ready to bite the dust, but I kept holding out for one more load. Then it happened. After many years of service, it had finally died. I knew I would have to start looking for a new dryer.
I looked at several dryers at one of the bigger stores, but wound up at a smaller local atore where I had purchased appliances before.
Jerry, the proprietor, showed me this Frigidaire dryer and explained the features it had. He could also have it delivered in a couple of hours and haul away my old one for free. I was really looking for something more basic, as my old dryer was pretty much no frills at all, but I was sold on the Frigidaire. I would finally get into the 21st century, where dryers are concerned anyway.
Many years ago, I had bought a used Montgomery Ward dryer, that had a feature that sensed the moisture level of the clothes you were drying, and would either extend or shorten the drying time so that your clothes would dry without over drying or wasting energy. I really liked that feature and I thought if I ever bought a new dryer, I would like to have that feature for sure.
Well, this dryer does that, and a whole lot more. I can say, without a doubt, this is the best dryer I have ever owned.
