Great if you like wrinkled clothes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dryer on a whim because its specs met our needs, and we love our 3 Frigidaire kitchen appliances. What could go wrong, right? Here's what: the 'chime' is pretty much inaudible unless you're very closeby. It's crazy, didn't even occur to us this could be an issue but it's a big one. Sensor drying is the only thing I've used for 15+ years...in fact I have never understood why everyone doesn't use it all of the time. But our home is only 1700 sq feet, dryer is directly under the basement stairs yet we can't hear it anywhere upstairs, not even the kitchen at the top of those stairs. Three people have tried. So unless we find a reason to hang out in that half of the basement more often, we'll have to learn to live with wrinkled clothes. Or ones that have shrunken due to overdrying using the timed dry?
The wrinkle guard setting seems odd in that it stops tumbling, then just starts back up occasionally. My previous Kenmore dryer kept going with no heat for up to 30 minutes, chiming every 10. I haven't used this one enough to judge but I question it's effectiveness, especially with no chime. Very disappointed in this purchase and wishing there was a solution for the chime.

Good Upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my older Frigidaire dryer with this one and am very happy with it. It has good new features, I like the automatic settings. The high temperatures don't seem as high as on the older one and my clothes are coming out better - less wrinkled.
