Worst washer on Earth

Do not spend a dime on this washer. Regulating the amount of water you need is basically an impossibility. Whomever designed this doesn’t wash clothes themselves, that’s very evident. I want to wash a mattress protector which is large and needs a sifficient amount of water to clean. This horrible machine “weighs” what’s in the drum and it decides a how much water you need. No option to Max Fill (add more water) for labeled cycles, like the Quick Wash for example. So I have to waste ample amounts of water and 65 minutes of my time because the only way to get a proper water level is run a different, much lengthier cycle. Idiotic machine, I absolutely hate this machine.

I hate it

There is no way to adjust the water level except by using Max fill which is a huge waste of water most of the time. If I don’t use Max fill, clothes or bedding in a small to medium load don’t ever get wet. Ridiculous!

Max fill hack for low water level

The max fill option isn't all or nothing. As many other reviewers have noted, the load moves around quite a bit during the initial weighing, and the water often doesn't fill the tub enough to cover the items being washed. I figured out that as long as you choose a cycle that has the max fill option (and no, normal doesn't offer it, which is weird), you can use it to just add a little more water. Once it's started agitating, press pause and open the lid. Swish the load around to check the water level, and if it needs more, close the lid, press the max fill button, and push start again to let it fill a little more. I usually only need to add enough to make it go up one or two drain holes in the tub, then pause the washer again, press the max fill button to turn it off, and press start again. No more water, and the machine starts agitating again. Once I figured that out, I've been really happy with the washer. Wish it didn't take so long to do a load of laundry, but I love the glass lid and the huge capacity, and it washes really well.

Big washer great for price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had some trouble with it at first because I couldn’t figure out why it didn’t start filling up with water when I first started the load, it would spin as if it was already starting to wash it, but after a couple mins it starts to fill with water and run the load and it fits a lot of clothes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not satisfied with the machine. When the hot water hose is filling the tub it vibrates and makes a loud banging noise. The repair man will be at my home today for the third time to try to correct the issue And during the rinse cycle there is a banging noise that Can be heard from the basement to my den with the basement door closed. One good point is that I can wash my queen comforter in the machine because the tub is big. I would love to return it and get my money back.

Shocking for the elderly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently both my washer and dryer went out. Of course I’m used to all of the old turn the dial kind of machines. We found this Frigidaire washer with a more modern look feel and action. At first I was like take it back I don’t know what I was thinking. But after getting used to it and it having its features such as sensing the water level and not so many buttons to push I am in love with it. Washing is so much easier now. I don’t have to go run and look how much water to add I love the glass top. I see the laundry and see that the water is just perfect no more wasting water. Love this set I even bought the dryer and found I love it. Never had a Frigidaire but I’m sold on it

I've had this washer for about a year now and overall it's a good washer, it cleans my clothes very well, however the way this washer is set up is aggravating, once everything is set up you load your clothes and then is rotates and bunches all the clothes to one side of the tub and that throws it off balance and you have to readjust them so it will fill with water, then there's no guarantee that will work, it begins to fill with water and somehow it gets unbalanced again then you have to readjust everything again, I will spend 5-10 minutes in front of the washer waiting and readjusting the clothes after each time getting an E5, this gets very aggravating, you can't walk away from it untill the washer has filled and begins washing. This is why I give this product 4 stars and if it didn't clean my clothes as well as it does I wouldn't give it that many, this really needs to addressed.
