Broke on 3rd load.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got this washer with my new house and it broke on the 3rd load. It started leaking water all over my laundry room floor. Tech found tub was leaking, still waiting on a part. Machine is going on 2 weeks broken.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible fabric softener holder

I got mines on December 12 and already had to call the service repair company out 2 times to get the drain for the fabric softener carpartment cleared because it clogs up
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible Smell due to Terrible Design

This washing machine came brand new with our new build home. It worked out for a few months,we only used natural fabric soap and vinegar and it worked well. Then after a few months the Fabric Softener container started backing up with water. Customer service told me "This is normal". So I dealt with it. Then after 6 months after moving in our clothes start smelling like mildew. I leave my lid open when not running, I remove my laundry promptly and I run the cleaning cycle at least once a month and again if I happen to run a really dirty load. I have tried all their cleaning recommendations. I have run loads of cleaning packets, baking soda, vinegar, bleach, you name it, I've tried it. And still the washer stinks. Service came out today and said there is nothing wrong with it, the water needs to sit in the bottom so the pump doesn't dry out. Yet that means there is stagnant water sitting in there for as long as it takes to do the next load of laundry and there is NO way to drain it so if we are out of town for 2 weeks, we have 2 week old water sitting around. The washing machine itself, does not smell. Our water does not smell. Yet every single load of clothes smells bad. We even tried switching to stronger detergent, Lysol Sanitizing booster, Oxi Clean, Scent boosters, and NOTHING even begins to even cover the smell let alone fix the issue. Our dirty laundry smells better before it is washed than after it comes out of this machine. I had a 1 year old washer of a different brand at our old place and wishing we moved it instead of being stuck with this terrible "un-washing machine". Atter 9 months of owning this machine, Do not waste your money on this machine. It might be cheaper than other options from other brands but you get what you pay for. The repair man told me "Frigidaire makes their products to start breaking in 1-5 years so it probably won't last that much longer anyway"

Are you using a low-sudsing, high-efficiency detergent along with the additional products you mentioned to get the best cleaning performance?
We recommend looking for detergents with the “he” symbol.

Never works

HORRIBLE

If I could give it 0 stars I would! This was in our home when we purchased and didn't have a choice of appliances. Had I known what a POC this was, I would have had the builder remove them and purchased my own. This washer NEVER fills the tub to cover all of the clothing, therefore I feel my clothes do not get clean. After reading reviews on the "max fill", I'm afraid to use it because of flooding issues. The dryer NEVER dries the clothes on the first cycle....I ALWAYS have to run the dryer twice to get my clothes dry. What a waste of energy (mine and electricity). I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER FRIDGIDARE PRODUCT. Please save yourself a lot of headaches and stay away from this brand. GO LG!!!!

Ridiculous!

I bought this 3 days ago. Been since yesterday, 7pm trying to wash a Mario Bros twin blanket and it's sheets. It's a small load. I placed it on bulky settings.
It starts, then it stops, says it's unbalanced, I fix it, and instead of staying on the last cycle it freaking starts to rinse again.....
Again and again and again....
I placed the load around 7 p.m. and went to check if it was finished at 9 p.m. but it had stop saying it was unbalanced.
I fixed the load. Went to sleep. This morning it had stopped again. I Fixed it and went to work.
When I arrived from work he was the same thing again.
I tried manually putting into drain and spin. Started draining then suddenly is filling with water now and it's on rinse...
This is so frustrating and I want to cry.

Top-loading washers are more sensor-based than front-loading models, therefore it’s tough to give an exact cycle time as the washer will determine the time based on the size of your load and the cycle you choose.
A single, bulky item, such as a comforter or blanket may cause an unbalanced load. Adding more items can help distribute the load.
Is your washer properly leveled? An unleveled floor or unit may cause your washer to produce unbalance loads. I recommend reviewing your model’s installation instructions.
