Issues with washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, I find the following issues with this new washing machine.
1. The water level is very low. When washing sheets I found after 4 or 5 minutes, the top of the sheets were still dry. I had to switch to the MAX level, which of course is a waste of water. When doing regular clothes, they are wet, but not covered by water. During one load I was pleased to see the water was at a good level, but during the rinse cycle, the water was low again.
2. When choosing hot water, the rinse water is cold even though the washer settings for hot water is lit and, washer setting chart indicates hot is available on all setting with the exception of Colors. It appears all rinse water is cold no matter what setting is used. Does not specify in instructions.
3. Lots of pausing during all cycles; water coming into the tub, when agitator is moving during washing and/or rinsing and during spin cycles. Spin cycle varies between speeds. Motor runs between cycles, but no action going on.
4. More time spent filling, pausing and spinning than washing and rinsing. When first purchased was shocked to see 72 minutes to do just a half a load choosing light soil.
5. Previous machine (Maytag purchased in 2005) was able to choose water level, water streamed in with full force, spinning stayed at high speed during whole cycle. A full load with light soil could finish in 45 minutes with more time spent on actual washing and rinsing the clothes.

Great washing machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Many great cycle options to choose from and machine has an agitator which a lot of high-efficiency machines do not, it seems to clean the clothes better than those machines that don’t have the agitator.
