It starts oscillating the agigitator with no water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Washer was installed by builder DR Horton in our new house.
I would give it 5 stars except for the one feature. When the start button is activated,
it starts oscillating the center agitator first, and there is no water yet introduced in the tub.
Result is the clothes bunch up in a big ball in one corner of the tub.
After a few minutes of this unnecessary churning of clothes, the water begins to
come into the tub.

The tub is obviously unbalanced because of the bunched up pile of clothes.
I have to pause the washer, and distribute the clothes evenly around the tub by hand!

Rest of the Washer operation is pretty good. It is quiet and efficient. Clothes come out very clean when wash is finished.

Hello, Bobby14HC! Thank you for your feedback! The beginning of the load senses the load size by rotating the wash tub. Once the load size has been identified, the washer will start the cycle. Disappointed

I bought a matching set of the Frigidare washer and dryer a year and a half ago after my divorce. For the first year it was great. Now it wont spin out without going off balance and tangling my clothes into ball. I have had 3 different maintenance companies look at it and so far no one has been able to fix the problem nor have any suggestions on how to.

Gets our clothes clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our 15+ year old washing machine and what a difference! The agitation is better, the spin cycle really gets the water out. I love the choices for cycles. And it is big enough to do some pretty serious wash loads.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I dearly love this new washing machine! I also purchased the matching dryer. This set is good looking and has all the settings that I would ever use. The washer gets my clothes so much cleaner than my previous washer ever could .Granted the washer is not super quiet, but I don't mind the noise it makes because you can tell they are working good! It is a whole lot better than my previous washer, that sounded like a jet engine when it was running. I am very happy that I made the choice that I did!!!
