Quip Water Flosser gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Quip Rechargeable Cordless Water Flosser as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have previously tried another water flosser but never made the commitment to purchase one myself. At first glance, the Quip water flosser looks very sleek. The color of the one I received is a matte black and looks very slim compared to others. There are two buttons on the front with the water tank reservoir in the back. It is cordless, which is a big bonus, and lightweight.
I have been using it regularly for the past week now, and I like it a lot. It does a good job of flossing and I have noticed a difference when using this before brushing! A few other pros are that it is cordless and the water tank is easy to fill. It also charges fully in only 4 hours! It is not high enough pressure to hurt but just enough pressure to feel like my gums are properly flossed. I gave this product 4 stars because there are a few flaws that seem design-related. The first one that I noticed is that the button you press to release the water is both a quick-release or a hold for constant water flow and it seems very touchy. Twice now I have sprayed water all over my bathroom because of the button. The only other con is that since it is so slim, the water reservoir doesn't seem like it holds enough for a single use and I find myself refilling it in the middle of flossing. Neither of these are big enough cons to me though and I feel a bit of it may even be user error. I am hopeful that as I become more acquainted with the product perhaps these will subside. I will provide an update in the near future.

A good basic option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the simplicity of this water flosser. There is one speed button (with two speed options) and a power button. Sometimes household tools and gadgets can go overboard with features, and I appreciated that this one was pretty straightforward. When I fill up the water reservoir, there is some leaking at the top where the latch clicks closed. When I use the water flosser, I tend to lean over the sink and angle the brush a bit so that the water doesn’t spray everywhere and I found there was a little bit of leaking that was coming out the top when I did that. It charges pretty quickly and in the few weeks that I have been using it, I have only had to recharge the flosser one time (other than prior to the first use), which is nice. I like that it holds its battery life. I will caution someone with sensitive gums because the tip causes the water to come out in a pretty fine stream and I found that it did cause some gum bleeding for me. I can only use the low speed, not the high-speed or it is uncomfortable. I would be interested in exploring other tip options to see if they worked better for me. The other thing I like about it, is that it is a pretty slim device and sits nicely on the counter in my bathroom without taking up a lot of room. The only downside to being smaller is that I probably have to fill up the water reservoir two or three times during the course of each use. it took a couple of times to get used to it and not spray the bathroom but overall I liked it as an addition to my teeth cleaning routine. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Makes flossing less of a chore

The Quip Rechargeable Cordless Water Flosser is a very convenient way to floss.
The battery lasts a long time (still on my first charge with a 2x daily use), the design looks good and it’s not too bulky for my bathroom.
Enjoyed testing it and makes flossing less of a chore.

Maybe water flossers are not for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Quip water flosser for a few weeks now (thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing it!), and I have mixed feelings about it. There are definitely some aspects I like, but also a few drawbacks that prevent me from giving it a higher rating. First for the things that I like:
- Design: The Quip water flosser is something I wouldn't feel bad leaving on my bathroom counter! The modern design goes beautifully with my bathroom decor.
- Portable: The flosser is quite compact and rechargeable which makes it easy to pack and bring when traveling. It doesn't need to be charged often which is convenient for short trips.
- Easy to use: it is super easy to fill and operate.
- Design: The Quip water flosser is something I wouldn't feel bad leaving on my bathroom counter! The modern design goes beautifully with my bathroom decor.
- Portable: The flosser is quite compact and rechargeable which makes it easy to pack and bring when traveling. It doesn't need to be charged often which is convenient for short trips.
- Easy to use: it is super easy to fill and operate.
Some of the cons:
- Water pressure: I don't have sensitive teeth/gums, but even at the lowest setting, the pressure felt a bit too strong for me. Despite this strong pressure, I still don't feel it was as effective as floss picks.
- Messy: Maybe this is just me, but I find the mechanics of water flossers to be just too messy for my personal preference. It was hard for me to figure out how not to get the spray everywhere!

Our Favorite New Water Flosser

My husband and I have been on the lookout for a good water flosser and this might just be the one! It's super easy to use, clean, and it's portable! All you have to do is charge it, and then you just put it on the setting you need and you're ready to go! We love how small and easy to hold it is because some water flossers are so big and bulky. I would say one downside is that the flosser shoots really far and it's sprayed all over our bathroom a few times haha! But once we got the hang of it, it's been amazing and we've both been using it every day. Even our little ones want to have turns using it! I would definitely recommend this product to people who have been looking for a quality water flosser that is portable and effortless to use!

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed using this water flosser! I've been a loyal flosser for decades; I rarely skip a night. I've always used traditional string floss in the past, and I was excited to give this water flosser a try. I received this water flosser from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, which was fantastic! In all honesty, this is the first water flosser I've tried so I can't compare it to others. What I can truthfully say, though, is that I think it's a great product! I really appreciated how lightweight and portable it was. I travel a lot, and this is such a travel-friendly product. It's very easy to refill, empty, store, and charge. I didn't download the app right away, but I eventually remembered to do so. I love a good habit tracker, so it's worth taking a look at. I'm interested in exploring the different features of the app. If you're looking for a lightweight, easy-to-use water flosser, this will be a good one!

Great product for those with any sensitivity

This is my first water flosser and I can already say this is an amazing product, and now part of my daily routine. I have extremely sensitive gums and teeth and this did not cause any discomfort, and has helped me to look forward to flossing. I enjoyed both pressure modes and water flows. It is nice that the tip rotates all around for maximum cleanliness. Thanks to its wide opening, the reservoir is super easy to fill and refill. I like that it is cordless too, besides when needing to charge but each charge lasts a good while as I am still on my first one. I appreciate getting to test and keep this product. As I probably would not have had the opportunity otherwise, given that I typically do not purchase products in this category at its current price. If you do purchase this water flosser, there is a reward included for additional savings which is a plus as well.
