Very powerful and perfect for travel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is for the quip water flosser. I am using a water flosser since my dentist recommended it many years ago. I always had issues with my gum line and water flossing really helped. The water flosser I was using was big and bulky and not made for travel. I needed a water flosser I can use at home, traveling or even on camping trips. The quip allows me to take it everywhere and the battery life is very good. It allows for different pressure mode settings and the deep clean settings is quite powerful which I love. The tank is easy to clean and the floss tip is magnetic for easy rotation. I am very impressed with this water flosser.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does the Job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this water flosser. It was easy to put together and put away. It holds a lot of water. The whole half of the flosser is the reservoir for the water. I loved the two modes for the flow of water. They were both pretty powerful and a bit of a mess. Water just went everywhere, so I recommend doing this sitting in the tub or standing in the shower. The flosser is nicely shaped and easy to hold as is the tip. It made me feel as though I just went to the dentist. My teeth felt clean. I mean it took out chunks of food out of teeth that I did not even find when brushing. When the water came out of the flosser, it was loud, but not loud enough to disturb anyone. I use this flosser daily with my normal teeth brushing routine. The one thing I liked the most was that it got food out of my teeth without blood. It is much better than string flossing. Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this water flosser.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking forward to trying this water glosser since I’ve always wanted one. Charging takes some time to start out but the cord is easy to connect. The water reservoir seems a little small but does make it easy to manage. Filling it is easy. The two power settings are a bit much and if you accidentally open your mouth before shutting it completely off, you will spray water all over the place. Shutting it off before opening your mouth does take some getting used to. Also, I’m not sure my mouth feels any cleaner after using it. Overall, pretty bummed by this product. I’ll keep using it just because I don’t think it’ll do any harm but was hoping for better results.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really wanted to like this water pick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this water flosser to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I was excited to finally try a water pick after researching them for a while. I immediately noticed how large the tool was in comparison to my toothbrush and that traveling with it would be a hassle. Assembly was straightforward and directions are clear, but using the pick is not as comfortable as I would have hoped. There are two settings for the water pressure and I opted for the lower as the higher shoots water with a bit of force and can be uncomfortable. The pick quickly cleans your teeth and is very quiet, so in that sense it’s more efficient than string flossing. However, the water collects in your mouth after a few seconds and you have to stop to spit and/or refill the water reservoir.
Unfortunately for me, the cons outweigh the pros and I won’t be replacing my manual floss routine.

Great start but some improvements needed

I really love that the device has a compact design but still manages to deliver consistent and continuous water flow, I’ve tried similar form factor from a couple other brands and their water flows weren’t continuous (there were tiny gaps between water shots). Also the water pressure is pretty good.
A few of my issues with Quip’s:
- I wish there was a way to keep the water tank lip open, maybe a magnet or something, so that it’s easier to air dry the tank.
- The magnet on the floss tip is a bit too strong, I can’t take it off with wet fingers, and my fingers are usually wet while using the device.
- Even with the strong magnet, it’s still easy to rotate the tip. However, it’s not easy to rotate it while using the flossed because it’s hard to reach the tip while still holding the flosser, wish there was a dial near where your thumb that can rotate the tip.
- A bit hard to refill the tank if your faucet isn’t tall enough.

I bought this because i hate using string floss its never a fun experience and such a waste. The water flosser was easy and kind of fun to use. It made daily teeth care easy to maintain and not fall behind. I can also see this being useful for kids.
