Good Idea - Bad Quality

Never used a water flosser:
I bought one and fell in love but it suddenly quit working and wouldn’t charge after like 2 months. I thought it was just a fluke and I liked it so much I bought a 2nd and it also quit working after 2-3 months. Very bummed! Great idea of a product but not worth the money given the low reliability and quality. I am now in love with water flossers but am forced to buy from another brand.

It rusts!!!

I bought this to replace a similar water flosser that I'd had for years, because this one seemed easier to fill. Within a few months the base of the mouthpiece as well as the part it fits into rusted. Why on earth would you make something that is constantly exposed to water, out of a material that rusts? This seems very unsanitary. What an expensive and wasteful disposable device! This is not the quality I have come to expect from Quip.

Broke!

Stop working after 1 week of use, pressure light stays on, will definitely return to store.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cordless is the way to go!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so thrilled with this Quip cordless water flosser because it does exactly what my old bulky system, that takes up so much counter space, does with less space, cordless, but yet with the same power. I actually started using this in my shower because it fits perfectly on my shower storage, and made it part of my morning routine. I love that it has great power with two speeds of choice. It's got a large water storage opening, so you can fill it with your water of choice, and I love that the floss nozzle fits in snuggly with a magnetic hold that you feel it snap right in when changing out or cleaning. The body of the flosser is a perfect fit for my hand, and it lives up to its rougly 8 week charge. I store the charger away, and then plug it in when needed after use, and you know it is securely in place because the charger is also magnetic, so you know it is plugged in tight, and charged quickly. I think the slate metal gives it a sleek look if you wanted to leave it out on the sink. It is not bulky nor an eye sore. My partner suffers from receding gums, so the is water flosser is a necessity instead of the classic string floss, so he can save his gums and teeth. The only warning I would give is, if you have sensitive teeth, then you may want to adjust the water temperature. Other than that, I think this flosser is PERFECT!! Highly recommend!

One of the worst products that I have ever tried to use

This is hands down the worst designed product that I have ever tried to use. According to the manuals recommendations, you are supposed to leave the top open to allow the device to air dry. Whoever designed the device must've missed the memo. The lid of the device will not stay open on its own. I was constantly trying to fight mildew buildup in the device, because there is no way to allow the device to properly air dry as suggested. After complaining about the device flaw, I was told to use vinegar to clean the device to make it easier to remove the mildew, but no mention of the design flaw of the device itself. I would never suggest anyone to buy this device.

Dangerous!

I purchased the water flosser a month ago. First impression was average, it wasn’t as strong as other water flossers I’ve had. Recently it has been turning on when not in use, I’m unable to turn it off when I’m using it, and I’m unable to toggle between speeds. I’m in my living room and I can hear it on right now as I type this review. I’m terrified it’s going to overheat and cause a fire while I’m away from home. I’m tempted to throw it away and not bother trying to get a refund, it’s not worth the annoyance of being woke up in the middle of the night and potentially losing my home and pets!

Quip Rechargeable Cordless Water Flosser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Quip Rechargeable Cordless Water Flosser has become one of my favorite tools to use before bedtime or even sometimes during the day after breakfast or lunch. The Quip comes in a sleek, black oval box with instructions and a USB charger nicely tucked into the box. After opening and reading the instructions, I put it to charge for about a 30 mins before using it. The 30 min charge ended up working just fine for its first use. I loved the light weight of its feel in my hand. Has a smooth body and can be held in hand without feeling awkwardly attached to the wall or a coilled tube to feed the water through. It has 2 buttons, 1 for power and 1 for flow speed. There are 3 flow speeds, fastest flow is great to make sure everything is out between your teeth and the slowest flow is nice to use in the morning or possibly if you have very sensitive teeth. Over all a really great product and would highly recommend to everyone!
