This Quip waterflosser saved my gums and teeth

This water flosser has saved my teeth and gums after periodontal surgery.
Reasons why this water flosser is better than competitors.
1. Top loading water tank. Easy to flip open with my thumb and snap back in place. Way better than bottom loading competitors models or countertop models.
2. Wireless and rechargeable. I can use it over the sink or in the shower.
3. Simply 2 modes, low and high. A water flosser shouldn't need more features than this.
4. Antibacterial tank.
5. Longevity. From my experience, this one lasts 2x as many months as competitor water flossers. As a twice a day, everyday water flosser, this model has lasted me 6-8 months whereas competitors water flossers have lasted me 3-4 months.

My routine:
When I use this water flosser I fill the tank with:
1/3 mouthwash
1/3 food grade hydrogen peroxide
1/3 water

After flossing, I clean out the water flosser tank in the sink with water and then I run a full tank of water though the flosser to clean out any of the remaining mouthwash and hydrogen peroxide.

Mold

Extremely moldy in less than year. Always emptied and left open to dry. Mold visible, additional in internal components and unable to be sanitized. Beware of mold.

Once a week:
1. Turn flosser off and unplug
2. Run warm water through your flosser (aim into your sink), then let fully air dry.
3. Wipe the exterior of your flosser with a soft, damp cloth.
Once a month:
Use a bottle brush and warm water to gently scrub out any lingering build up or residue. Important: Never run the device with hot water
Once a week:

Sleek and nice but issue with replacing tip.

Like sleek look. Liked interchangeable charging cord with my quip toothbrush. Did not like when flossed tip snapped off and remaining piece could not be removed to replace it.

Works fine but it's absolute misery to try and deep clean. Clearly a reason why this thing is so cheap.

The flosser is great to move around my permanent retainer. The battery holds out for a few days and the pressure stays strong if that is what you like. The hose does move a bit when I don’t want it too but that is to be nitpicky.
I would recommend this to a friend!
