Would be great if top didn't warp

Bought this late last spring. I own a 36" Blackstone gas griddle but I knew the E series would be a bit different. Unfortunately, the griddle plate warped the first time I used it. Eggs run to all the sides and when I tried to cook 8 eggs at once they overflowed over the front lip. The front lip is much shorter than the back and this is a major issue for cooking breakfast. The griddle needs to be thickened in some areas to resist warping. I've seen a number of reviews complaining about this but I don't see where any changes have been made.
For cooking fish, etc, the griddle works great. Just don't put anything on it that is a liquid. Hopefully Blackstone fixes this soon.

I love this griddle

I have to cook most of the time due to work schedules and I can do this inside without making a mess. And the nonstick is the first truly nonstick I have ever had. I love it

Great product but I wish there was a way to actually lock the cover to the base. You need to be careful to not push it rearwards when opening or the cover will disengage from the base.

Covenant and Non Stick, but surface temps off

This is a very above-average electric indoor flattop. It has a great nonstick surface, but the cooktop temperature and heat setting do not match. It's about 50*f below what the dials read. If you want to cook something at 350... you need to set the temperature dials to 400-410. There are quite a few hot spots, and it shows on pancakes at times. It is easy to clean up and quick and easy to fix the family's meal, but I don't expect this griddle to last more than 18 months. Maybe two years.
I would recommend this to a friend!
