I had wanted a Blackstone for a while and then saw the electric indoor griddle which was badly needed in a small kitchen area with no stove. However I was quite disappointed in the amount of time it takes to heat up sufficiently, the slowness of the cooking overall and the fact that food slides to the corners and edges. Also when lifting the lid, if you don’t grab it exactly in the middle, then it wants to wobble and pop out of the hooks in the back that it’s inserted in. You have to be very careful. I contacted the company immediately because I wanted to return it but was told ‘well you used it, it can’t be returned’. How am I supposed to know if it has poor design and ability if I don’t use it?? I went back and forth several times trying to get a resolution but evidently in this case the customer gets screwed. I’m guessing the propane grill is much better in function and perhaps this style will get upgraded but for now this one is a tremendous disappointment.

I love it but within a week, it started to shut off on me so I had to call to get a new one, now seeing if this one will work correctly
