Great nonstick feature. Not sure how the sear compares to the traditional configuration, but we are happy with its ability to cook nightly dinners and weekend breakfast.

I like to use a product for a while before leaving a review. I have had this griddle a little over a year. It is the worst. It takes forever to get hot. Then if you put any food on it at all it cools off almost instantly.
Last night we were going to make smash burgers. I let it heat up on high for 45 min before I put burgers on. The first four had sear marks. The rest did not, it cooled off that quickly. Blackstone needs to fix the electric griddles. I can not believe they would sell this junk.

Just opened the box. Easy to put together. Light weight. You have to remove a sticker before placing the griddle top down and that leaves residue behind.

Great, when it works

Griddle works great, for about 10 minutes. Then it trips something and the entire griddle shuts down. I figured out if I only use the left side (possibly the right side too but haven’t tried it), it’ll stay on.
I’m frustrated with this cause it’s nice, but doesn’t work all the time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
