Electrical wiring issue

I just received the 22” electric griddle on Friday. Looks great and warmed up great after I cleaned it. When cooking on it the right side was cooking hotter then set temp with the bar strip showing that it lost temp and could not recover to get the temp back to the setting. The left side bar strip showed it was at temp with the orange bars but was cool and not cooking. After cooking on it the second time it does the same thing. I think the right coil is wired to the left control and the left coil is wired to the right control. Quality and value of the product is good but needs the wiring issues addressed.

Only thing I'd suggest is a vent that can be opened or closed on the lid so it doesn't accumulate moisture if You're doing meats
