Great design and functional , except doesn’t have the ability to recover heat although it was considered to be a “large” cooking surface. An upgrade to the wattage or insulating should be a remedy. I hope you’re listening Blackstone!!

We got the smaller on when it first cam out and loved it! About 2 months ago we decided to upgrade to the 22". Im not sure if we got a dud, but the cooking surface seems convexed in the middle. EVERYTHING slides right to the sides or front and back. When looking at the grill you can easily see it. It s not a big deal when cooking meat, but whenever we cook veggies they all slide to the sides. If you try to cook anything with oil, you have to put the item on first then oil so itll stay better. You cant cook eggs on here.

This is still pretty new but so far I am pleased. The only issue I have had to this point is the first time I used it, the back came up and I’m had to turn off and let it cool down and then had to push the back down several times to stay down and in place. The second time the back stayed down so hopefully I am good. I love Blackstone products and this is my 4th griddle and am hoping this will be as good as all the others. This 22in e series is sure fun to cook on.
