Convenient Griddle

This griddle is very convenient for a countertop cooking session. I would have given this item 5 stars but after opening and 1st use I noticed one of the legs were broken off. I will be reaching out to BlackStone about this.

Shuts off at around 280 degrees

After a few uses it started shutting off at around 280 degrees . Theres no issues with cords , outlets, circuits in the home,breakers etc . Its the griddle ! Very annoying and unexpected from the other griddles I have. This one is a lemon as ive read a similar review above same thing . What gives.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Needs some work

When you have high humidity inside the device as in cooking very thick bacon. When you open the lid, all the water runs down the back and onto the counter, which makes a mess.
Seems like you could have a drip edge to collect the humidity and perhaps collect it in another container or fold up a paper towel and collect it.
