Overall good, but one of the wheels has a bent welded bracket, therefore the wheel is It sitting straight and bends in upon moving the grill. I am requesting a new wheel assy.

no place to hand the lid

I haven't used it yet, but I took the cover off and tried to hand it one the back with the hooks and it won't hang on the back because the grease catcher is in the way. Poor design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sorry for the confusion. This unit comes with just the hardcover. The hard cover is not meant to be used while cooking, which is why it doesn't attach. We do offer a hood for most of our units that can be purchased separately. Reach out to us, and we can help you find one that is compatible with your unit.

Could be designed better.

Bought this two years ago. Generally it works well but I think it's been poorly designed. We tried storing things needed for cleaning in a plastic container on the bottom shelf. So much heat escaped that the container melted. Too much heat escapes out the side that you cannot place anything on the shelves and you cannot grab the shelves to move the grill around because they lift up and collapse. My advice, look elsewhere.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
