This was difficult. Biggest issue was removing screws. I suspect the weight of the griddle bearing down on the screws is what led to strip one of the screws, which I was trying to unscrew manually to avoid stripping! Changing the valves was not a problem, but once completed, reattaching the front plate screws was quite difficult because the top screws had to through 3 different pieces of metal and getting those pieces aligned was hard. On one side I had to give up getting the screw back in. When buying previous gas grills I have not had to make a conversion; I assumed I would just have to attach a different hose for gas. Thank you.
